Sisu is a Finnish word. It means you finish the roof.
There's no clean English translation for sisu. The closest is grit: the decision to keep working when the weather, the pitch, or the schedule says otherwise. It's a Finnish family word, and for a roofing company in a valley where winter runs five months, it's a job description.
Who you're hiring
Sisu Roofing & Construction is owned and run by Ben Wuollet out of Kila, Montana, a few miles west of Kalispell. We hold Montana contractor license 400855IC, and that number is on every estimate we write. The work is roofing and exteriors: shingle, metal, and flat systems, storm repair, and siding, across the whole Flathead Valley.
How we work
Every estimate starts with a drone flight. We photograph every slope, valley, and flashing line, and you get the photos with a written, line-item scope. No pressure on the driveway, no vague allowances, no surprise change orders for things we should have seen. When the job is done, we fly it again and hand you the documentation.
